Learn about plants, foraging, herbal medicine, the history & community fight in Concrete Park along with future visions of the Bronx River. 10a Join Journei Bimwala to learn about wild foraging, plant identification, and how to be in reciprocity with our food ecosystem. Journei is a clinical herbalist, foraging practitioner, and educator who has been teaching communities how to identify edible and medicinal plants since 2014 across New York City and the tri-state area. She is a founding member of the Bronx River Foodway and an invaluable voice for food sovereignty, self empowerment and alternative pathways of abundance.
