Hattie's Birthday! A one-day band where we sing the song "Cecilia" and play xylophones or some such

Hiiiiiii! It's me, Hattie. It's my birthday. Did you see this video or perhaps this one, where people recreated the song/video We Are The World as a bit of birthday foolery? Well, we will NOT be doing that! Instead we will be singing Cecilia, by Simon & Garfunkel. Here is the song with lyrics. If you have a transportable instrument, bring it! If you do not have a transportable instrument, some sort of children's instrument, or perhaps an upturned bucket, will be provided for you. You also don't need to play an instrument at all! Just singing is great! Myles found a lead sheet! So we will have loose music + lyric printouts for y'all. Me, I don't know how to read music, so I will simply be going off vibes and knowing the song real well. We will rehearse the song a bunch of times in the room and then eventually record it on my phone and I'll send it to y'all. I don't plan to put the video online, I just want to rewatch it whenever I'm sad or anxious about being on a plane or bored in line for a log ride or something. We will eat food after! Not pizza. IDK if we'll go out or order in. We're doing this at my work, which is very roomy! There are chairs! There will be seltzer/regular water/assorted soft beverages provided! And CHIPS!
