Trash Romantics, Žaltys, Costumes

Costumes is a band composed of members Rizae Fitzcharles, Danny White, and Omar Cohetero. Leaning towards the experimental boom and melodic rhythms of post-pandemic New York City, they create familiar yet distinct textures that captivate audiences all around Žaltys is a post-punk four-piece that explores tight counterpoint melodies between bass/bass/guitar. My interest in early polyphonic music of the European Renaissance combined with a lifelong affinity for scream-singing over f*cked up noise birthed this project. A Žaltys (zh-altys) is a little garden snake that you might keep in your house for protection or fertility.
