We’re excited to bring our amigas together for a fun beginner-friendly bachata class where we’ll learn the basic steps, footwork, and simple combinations while getting comfortable with the rhythm and movement of bachata. No previous dance experience is needed! This class is designed specifically for beginners, so come ready to learn, have fun, and enjoy some music! What to expect:• Beginner bachata instruction• Basic steps & footwork• Simple dance combinations• Practice time• Music, movement & lots of fun! This is a private Latinas Social Club event and registration is required. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot! Vamos a bailar, amigas! 💃🏽❤️ 💃🏽 What to Bring & Keep in Mind 👚 Comfortable clothing: Wear something you can move and dance comfortably in. 👠 Dance shoes: If you have dancing shoes, perfect! If not, sneakers or another comfortable, supportive shoe are totally fine. 💧 Stay hydrated: Bachata is a physical activity, so make sure you drink plenty of water before and during class. 🍽️ Please eat beforehand: You’ll be moving and dancing, so please do not come on an empty stomach. Make sure you’ve had something to eat before class so you have the energy to participate and enjoy yourself! Most importantly, come ready to move, have fun, and enjoy the music! ❤️💃🏽 ⚠️ Class Advisory By attending, participants acknowledge that physical activity involves some level of risk. Please listen to your body, modify movements as needed, and take breaks whenever necessary. If you have any injuries, medical conditions, are pregnant, or have concerns about participating in physical activity, please consult with a healthcare professional before attending. Participation is voluntary, and attendees take part at their own pace and responsibility. 📍 A Little Note About the Location Yes, the address says Suffolk… but don’t let that scare you! 😂❤️ The location is right on the Suffolk/Chesapeake border, so it’s much closer than it sounds! We promise you’re not being sent on a whole expedition to Suffolk. 🤣 ** NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENTS ** We know plans can change, so if something comes up and you're unable to attend, just let our admins know via email [email protected], at least 7 days prior to the event. This way, we can adjust our preparations accordingly and you won't be marked as a no-show. Please note, that it is NOT possible to get a refund, it is also not allowed to sell or transfer your spot to another member or event. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation! No Show Policy Free Events: Missing 2 free events results in a 6-month ban. Paid Events: Missing 1 paid event results in a 6-month ban. Combination: Missing 1 free and 1 paid event results in a 6-month ban. Three Combined No Shows: Missing any combination of 3 events results in removal and a ban. ** PAYMENT OPTIONS** Luma (purchase ticket via this link): Make a payment of $23.00. The additional fee is for transferring the payment to Venmo.
