[In-Person - Oakland CA] How to Buy Property With Friends + Compound Tour

Curious about living near friends—or looking for a unique property in Oakland? Come meet the Live Near Friends team, learn how buying with friends actually works, and tour one of the Bay Area’s most interesting friend compounds. We’re hosting an in-person happy hour, property tour, and conversation about how to make living near friends happen. You’ll get a sneak preview of an Oakland property that will soon be coming to market: a custom-designed compound with three spacious homes, two courtyards, an industrial kitchen and common space, and elevated walkways connecting the buildings. Originally developed by eSix and OpenDoor, a Bay Area coliving company, the property was designed from the ground up for people to live in community while still having their own space. Whether you’re interested in this particular property or simply curious about how to find, buy, finance, and structure a property with friends, you’re welcome to join.
