The Lowdown 👋 An AI agent is only as useful as the data behind its answers. Let's build one grounded in 107 million real GitHub events, not just a model's training memory. In this hands-on session, Richie Bachala (Snowflake) walks you through building GitTrend, an AI agent that uncovers trending AI repositories from a snapshot of real developer activity. You'll work in your terminal with Snowflake CoCo, using plain-English prompts to load data, explore GitHub star activity, and turn query results into natural-language insights. CoCo writes the SQL; you direct it and review what it produces. You'll connect Cortex Search to a working Cortex Agent, ask follow-up questions, and generate charts in Snowflake CoWork. Leave with an agent you built yourself and a workflow you can adapt to your own data. Bring a laptop and come ready to build!
