Join the South Asian Business Students Association (SABSA) for a conversation with Shridhar Venkat, CEO of The Akshaya Patra Foundation - the world's largest not-for-profit school meal program, feeding over 2.35 million children every school day through a network of 76 kitchens across India, in conversation with Sri Rajan, Advisory Partner at Bain & Company and Chairman of Akshaya Patra USA. They will share hard-earned lessons on: • The power of purpose, and the zero margin for failure when a child is counting on that meal • The power of scale, the art of problem-solving, and the science of innovation • Deploying AI for impact to improve operations at scale Samosas and chai on us. ☕️ About the speakers: Shridhar Venkat joined Akshaya Patra as Executive Director in 2006 and has been CEO since 2014. Before that, he spent over 25 years with Philips, ABB and Webex Communications (now Cisco), where he served as Vice President - Sales. He holds an engineering degree and a Master's in Management, is a graduate of Wharton's Advanced Management Program, and is an Eisenhower Fellow for Innovation (2014) and a recipient of the Mother Teresa Social Leadership Scholarship. Sri Rajan is an Advisory Partner at Bain & Company and former Chairman of Bain India. He chairs Akshaya Patra USA and serves on or chairs the advisory boards of several social-impact organizations, including ILSS, The Udaiti Foundation, The Convergence Foundation, and Central Square Foundation.
