The Magic + Power of Medicinal Roots & Herbs for Immunity (Garden Class)

Gather in one of San Francisco's beautiful community gardens, and make magic and herbal medicine with local plants in a tranquil setting. These experiential and hands-on gatherings are for those who’d like to learn more about the wisdom, plant and healing properties of working with herbs, flowers, trees and wild medicinal plants. You’ll leave this class feeling inspired, even more connected to the natural world and the healing properties of our “green allies.” In each session you’ll get to take home an herbal remedy that we made together. * The class will be all on the magic and power of medicinal roots and herbs for immunity.* Join just this class in the garden, or get your spot for the next three classes this summer to fall. Schedule listed below, and all are welcome. 10/18 - The Magic and Power of Medicinal Roots & Herbs for Immunity (Echinacea, Dandelion, Burdock, Horseradish, Reishi) Note : This class will be outdoors at the White Crane Springs community garden in the Inner Sunset, so please make sure to dress accordingly with warm and cool layers as we know the weather can shift easily in the Bay Area. This class is open to those who are curious, and want to deepen in their awareness of working with the medicine of the “green realm” in a very hands-on and experiential way. You can sign up for each class individually, or the whole series of four at a lower rate. COST : $60/gathering day of $55/gathering in advance Discount for WCS Garden Members $45/gathering day of $40/gathering in advance Please email Crystal (crystal@[email protected]) to arrange. NOTE : Herbalism doesn’t have to be put in the place of either or - working with plants can support anything else you are doing to support your system and overall health. All of our ancestors at some point had a deep connection to the land, to the herbs and plants or green realm, to the animals and waters in order to survive. This connection to our roots and deeper belonging was severed, and it is time to reclaim the wisdom we all long for again.
