Open Mic: A night to share bravely + connect deeply

An in-person open mic experience for courageous humans to share creative work, connect, build community, receive, support, and celebrate. Liberation Studio and Brave Enough present a casual, fun night celebrating creative expression, courage, culture, identity, and all the things that make us human. If you’ve got something to share, the spotlight is yours. Bring a song, story, poem, comedy, dance, family tradition, cultural ritual, work in progress, hidden talent, or something else...passed down to you or dreamed up yesterday. Bring your roots, history, tender and meaningful things, and things that make you laugh. Share something you’ve practiced for years or try something for the first time. There’s room for depth and play, vulnerability and celebration, the sacred and the silly. We don’t know all the experiences that have shaped one another, what we carry from our families and cultures, or which parts of our identities rarely get a voice. This is a space to bring those forward. You don’t need to be polished or performance ready. Come practice being seen and heard, play, experiment, take a risk, be a little awkward, and try something before you feel completely ready. If stepping up to the mic feels like a new edge, you belong here. • Would you like to be a contributor and share on stage? If so, first register here as a "contributor" on Eventbrite. Then, sign up here by 11/20/26 and aim for around five minutes so there’s room for as many shares as possible. • The evening will be acoustic; you’re welcome to bring your own instrument. • Come to share, witness, play, or practice taking up a little more space. If the stage isn’t calling you, your encouragement, curiosity, energy, and presence are just as much a part of the evening. Your facilitators: Zannah Campora and Leigh Orne Leigh Orne is a celebration guide, creativity coach, and hype woman whose work centers connection: to self, to others, and to what wants to be born through you. She creates spaces that are playful, intentional, and deeply human. Zannah Campora is a seasoned social entrepreneur who creates opportunities for connection & community that nurture inner and collective liberation, human-centric placemaking, conscious business, and collaboration.
