A pillar of Baroque repertoire, Bach's St. John Passion offers an immediacy of emotional connection and a timeless message. Experience the St. John Passion Live! A pillar of Baroque repertoire, Bach's St. John Passion offers an immediacy of emotional connection and a timeless message. Evangelist, Philadelphia’s own James Reese guides us through the Passion of St. John, recounting the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus. A tapestry of soloists offer reflections on the events in the voice of the people, those looking on feeling powerless to the events. We are excited to collaborate with the Tenet Vocal Artists, and we look forward to performing for audiences in for the first time in NYC.
