Wavy Movy Fundraising Concert!

Wavy Movy is a brand-new festival for experimental music in Philadelphia! We're launching Wavy Movy in May 2027. We are overjoyed to have received a Sachs Community Partnership grant to help kickstart this festival! But, festivals are expensive and we need to raise a bit more $$. So to do this and to celebrate our new festival, we are having a concert/fundraiser! Featuring performances by the directors of the festival, Natacha Diels (Am I Alive?) and Andrew Burke (Thesis on a Digital Crabcake and This One Time). NOTAFLOF-- Please come and support even if support does not equal $$. Nice words, lively audience, and friends are cheer are nice too! Tickets at the door will be sliding scale. About Wavy Movy Wavy Movy is a festival for experimental music that has a strong interest in the visual. The pieces we feature treat the material of music composition as porous and expansive— they employ instruments and electronic sound, but also lighting, video, faces, drawings, bodies, props, and staging. Sometimes the pieces tell stories with words, but often the narrative is abstract and contained within the music itself, personal to each audience member. Wavy Movy is co-directed by Natacha DIels and Andrew Burke, and is hosted by The Perch Music & Arts Workshop in Philadelphia, PA.
