Pregnancy Loss Community Circle - October Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness

A gentle space for connection, remembrance, and honest conversation about pregnancy loss. In honor of October's Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month, the first Pregnancy Loss Community Circle is being offered to give women a space to remember, connect, and have honest conversation about pregnancy loss. In today's society we've been conditioned to stay "hush hush" about pregnancy loss and pushed to "get over it" in a timeframe that works for everyone else around us. But grief doesn't work that way. Grief is loud and even when it quiets down, it is constantly lingering and reminding us of what we loss. This gathering is for the woman who doesn't want to stay quiet about her loss, or simply wants a place where she feels welcomed to be authentic and honest about her grief. This is the place where you can talk all things pregnancy loss with woman who understand. There will be space for conversation, reflection, and a simple craft activity (TBD) to take home as a remembrance piece. Sharing is always optional. Since this meeting lands on October 15th's Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, we will end with lighting a (battery operated) candle to honor our babies. A limited number of seats are reserved for this event to keep the gathering intentional and intimate. This event is donation-based, with no pressure to contribute. Donations of any amount—even $1—help cover room reservation fees and craft materials so the circle can continue to remain accessible. This event will take place at Sozo Coffeehouse in one of their private meeting rooms. Purchse of coffee and treats are at the attendee's own cost. The event is expected to end promptly by 6:15 pm due to subsequent reservations in the room. After event mingling is allowed in the main seating area of the coffeehouse. Future offerings of the Community Circle planned for the third Thursday of the month: November 19th 5:00-6:15 pm (location TBD) December 17th 5:00-6:15 pm (Virtual) About the Circle: The Pregnancy Loss Community Circle is a community gathering, not a therapy or clinical support group. It is hosted by Celeste Celaya, owner of Wholehearted Counseling. Celeste will help guide the gathering and participate alongside attendees.
