If you're running on caffeine and willpower, waking up exhausted no matter how much you sleep, or feeling like your hormones have a mind of their own - this one's for you. ​Flamingos lose their vibrant color while raising their chicks, and only regain it once those chicks are grown. It's a fitting mirror for what happens to so many women: we give and give, and lose touch with our own vitality along the way. The Flamingo Effect is a return to that color - an afternoon devoted to women's metabolic, adrenal, and hormonal health. ​Join us at Flex Etc. for a health expert panel with leading founders and doctors, a vendor village of local women's health and wellness businesses, a closing group meditation, and a founder story studio where women can record their own story on camera and take the footage with them. ​What the event is about: A half-day wellness activation centered on women's metabolic, adrenal, and hormonal health. The day includes lunch, a moderated expert panel (Dr. Kyle Kinsley/Female Hormone and Metabolic Health, Dr. Adrijana/Longevity Kekic and Katie Anderson/Author and Holistic Healer), a vendor village to explore local wellness and beauty businesses, a closing meditation, and a story studio for capturing your own footage. Part education, part community, part permission to slow down. ​Who should come: Any woman who's been pouring into everyone else and forgetting herself -founders and high-achievers stretched thin, women navigating stress, hormonal or metabolic changes, or anyone curious about the women's health and wellness community in the Valley.
