LifeX Startup Summit

LifeX Startup Summit 2026: Building with the Customer in Mind is designed for founders who want to move beyond theory and into real commercialization. Most startup events focus on fundraising. This one is about something far more decisive: getting customers to say yes. This is not a passive conference. It’s an interactive working session where founders will refine how they sell, pressure-test their assumptions, and leave with sharper messaging and clearer next steps because you will work alongside the people who actually buy and adopt innovation. 8 AM: Check-in, Breakfast, & Networking 8:45 AM: Welcome and Opening Remarks 9 AM: “Pitching the C-Suite: How Health System Leadership Actually Buy & Adopt" 10:30 AM: Commercialization Breakdown: Founder Workshop 12 PM: The Expert Lunch 1 PM: “How I Built This: A Founder's Journey” 2:30 PM: Innovating with Strategics Reverse Pitch 3:30 PM: Community Connections Networking Reception Founders, you will leave with more than new connections. You’ll leave with clearer answers to the questions that matter most: Who is my customer, how do they make decisions, and how do I actually close the deal? Who should attend? Founders leading early- to growth-stage healthcare and life science companies who are actively thinking about (or struggling with) customer acquisition, pilots, and sales into health systems or industry partners. Ecosystem partners, who include health systems administrators, corporate strategics, university and innovation partners, and ecosystem builders who want a front-row seat to emerging innovation and a chance to directly shape and support the next wave of startups.
