Back In Control

Understand back pain, build core stability, and learn practical strategies to move, lift, and exercise with strength and confidence. Back pain can be frustrating, confusing, and even make you hesitant to move. But understanding how your back works and how to build strength and confidence can help you take control. Join Kennebunk Physical Therapy and Destination Fitness for Back in Control, an interactive workshop designed to help you better understand your back and put that knowledge into practice. We’ll explore common misconceptions about low back pain, how breathing and intra-abdominal pressure contribute to core stability, and how to find and control strong spinal positions. Then, we’ll put it all together with practical exercises and movement strategies you can use during lifting, training, and everyday life. This isn’t just a lecture. Come ready to learn, move, and build confidence in what your body can do. You’ll leave with practical tools you can immediately apply to exercise and daily movement. All fitness levels are welcome.
