What’s Haunting You?: A Creative Reflection Expressive Arts Workshop What do we carry with us long after we thought we had left it behind? This is a queer-centered Creative Reflection workshop inviting you to gently explore the memories, beliefs, expectations, identities, and experiences that continue to linger in our lives. Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, and intuitive art-making, co-facilitators Laurie Wever and Ginger Harbin will create space for you to slow down, notice what comes forward, and express it in whatever way feels right for you. You don’t need to know how to meditate, keep a journal, or make art. There is no “right” way to create here. Your journaling and artwork can be abstract, messy, symbolic, colorful, quiet, strange, simple or anything in between! This workshop is especially created with LGBTQIA+ people and those navigating identity, change, belonging, deconstruction, loss, growth, or simply the complicated experience of becoming more fully themselves in mind. What To Expect: • A welcoming, choice-based environment • Guided meditation and reflection led by Laurie • Journaling prompts to help you explore the workshop theme • Intuitive expressive art led by Ginger • Time to create without pressure or expectations • Opportunities for connection and reflection, with sharing always optional All materials are provided, and no previous art experience is necessary.
