Whether witnessed by many on a stage or heard by an intimate few, every member of our society has pledged to share a confession or a desire the night we open our doors to a select few patrons. For one night our members will bare it all to you. Come out and join us. The Society keeps two orders. THE CONSPIRATORS keepers of secrets Confidences, confessions, the things said once and not repeated. A Conspirator's poem is the one you weren't supposed to hear. THE COURTESANS keepers of desire Longing, appetite, the poem not afraid to ask for what it wants. A Courtesan's poem is the one you’ve longed for. On December 1 you may sit with either or both. 7:00 - 8:00 PM: We Gather the Order Doors open. Live music, tarot, full bar. 8:00 - 9:00 Our Proceedings 60 minutes of burlesque and poetry, alternating on one stage. 9:00 - 10:00 Intimate Gatherings Poets take posts throughout the venue and receive guests one or two at a time for private poetry performances. $5 per audience, purchased separately. Burlesque dancers, aerialists and more weave throughout the crowd, a band plays in the lounge, and tarot fortunes told. We encourage you to wander. 10:00-10:15 Adjournment Last call. At 10:15 the doors close.
