Downtown Raleigh Coffee Culture Walking Tour - WEST (Dec 2026)

Explore a dozen downtown shops with coffee connoisseur Greg Whitt. Enjoy samples and cultural tidbits along the way. RESCHEDULED FROM JUNE 20 DUE TO CAROLINA HURRICANES PARADE! Spend the morning with an avid coffee lover and frequent patron of Raleigh’s proliferating locally-owned coffee shop scene. On this tour, guests will learn a bit about the city's coffee history along with colorful facts about the downtown Raleigh area, all while enjoying samples from a variety of locations. Tours are held monthly with alternating locations. The east-side tour explores the Moore Square area and is offered on odd-numbered months. The west-side tour spans the warehouse district over to Glenwood South and is held on even numbered months. Each tour averages a bit over 90 minutes and ranges just over a mile. Tours are rain-or-shine, so please dress accordingly. Your tour guide is Greg Whitt, an award-winning team builder, arts educator, wellness facilitator, and storyteller. Greg believes life is better when we communicate, cooperate, and collaborate with one another and with the world around us. He's super active in the downtown arts community. He's also an NCSU grad, USAF veteran, and founder of the Raleigh Drum Circle. He has called Raleigh home since 1986.
