Holiday Ravioli Making Class

Come learn how to make ravioli from scratch with Daniela at Il Laboratorio. Classes are hands-on and end with a pasta tasting. Get ready for the holidays and learn how to make two different ravioli flavors, shapes and sauces. This class has special ravioli fillings and richer sauces for the holiday season. Menu Tuscan Potato & Garlic Tortelli (Ravioli) Ragu alla Mugellana Goat Cheese & Honey Ravioli Brown Butter Balsamic Sauce We will being with making a fresh egg pasta dough. Next, you will learn how to roll the dough out into thin sheets and shape it into two different Ravioli shapes. All classes are hands-on. We eat what we make! We will cook up the pasta together for a tasting at the end of the class. This is typically enough for a light meal. NOTE: Classes are held at IL LABORATORIO - our Italian Cooking School kitchen located at 3101 Guess Rd. (NOT at Melina's Fresh Pasta shop). All participants receive a Class Recipe Book via email after the class with the recipes from the class. Please read FAQs below this description before calling the pasta shop with questions. Daniela is a 1st generation Italian American who moved to NC from Clearwater, Florida where she grew up in her family’s Italian market. That is where Daniela grew a love for baking, cooking and hospitality. She now owns her own businesses Ds Corner Kitchen, where she offers weekly meal prep services. She also owns Baked By D and loves keeping Italian traditions alive by offering classic Italian baked good.
