The Artful Aftermath - Halloween Junk Journaling

Build your own Book of Shadows from vintage papers, found ephemera, and a little intention. No experience needed. Artful Aftermath is a creativity circle for anyone carrying something heavy, or simply needing a quiet hour to make something with their hands. We gather around a table, work with simple materials, and let the making do some of the talking. You don't need any art experience, and nothing you create has to be good, finished, or shared. It's a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and be in good company while you do. Come as you are. _________________________________________________________________________ A Book of Shadows is a personal book for your intentions and the wisdom you want to keep close. Junk journaling is the art of building a journal from scraps: old book pages, vintage paper, ribbon, pressed botanicals, and found bits and pieces. Put the two together and you get a book that's entirely yours. In this class, you'll assemble and decorate your own Book of Shadows, layering papers, pockets, and tuck spots for spells, moon notes, recipes, or reflections. You don't need any experience with journaling or witchcraft, just curiosity and a willingness to get a little glue on your fingers. Supplies and light snacks are provided. You're welcome to bring personal papers, photos, or keepsakes to add. Seats are limited, so reserve yours early.
