The Autumn Pause

A nature-based wellness experience to pause, reflect, reconnect, and find renewal in the beauty of the autumn season. The Autumn Pause Sometimes we don’t need to completely reset. Sometimes we simply need to pause. Step away from the noise and demands of everyday life and spend an autumn evening surrounded by the natural beauty of Barn on the Hill Homestead. The Autumn Pause is an intimate, three-hour nature-based wellness and personal reflection experience created and guided by Transformative Awakenings, LLC. Throughout the evening, we’ll move through different areas of the homestead — among the evergreens, beside the flowing creek, near the lotus pond, and into quiet natural spaces intentionally chosen to invite you to slow down, breathe, reflect and reconnect. Your experience will include: • Guided grounding and nature connection• Mindfulness and personal reflection• Quiet moments for journaling and contemplation• Meaningful connection with the natural environment• Seasonal food and refreshments• A special closing experience as the autumn evening settles in No previous experience with mindfulness or meditation is necessary. Simply come as you are, dressed comfortably for an autumn evening outdoors. A Thoughtfully Guided Experience The Autumn Pause is created and facilitated by a Licensed Professional Counselor and draws upon professional experience with mindfulness, grounding, reflection, personal growth and meaningful connection. This event is a nonclinical wellness and personal reflection experience and is not psychotherapy, counseling or mental-health treatment. Attendance is intentionally limited to create a peaceful and personal experience. Saturday, October 10, 2026 4:00–7:00 PM Barn on the Hill Homestead Weather & Rain Date The Autumn Pause is an outdoor experience and will take place in typical fall weather, including cool temperatures, clouds or light intermittent rain. In the event of significant rain, thunderstorms, high winds or other conditions that would prevent the experience from being safely and comfortably held outdoors, the event will move to Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 PM. Please keep both dates available when registering. If weather prevents the event from being safely held on both October 10 and October 11, the event will be canceled and registration fees will be refunded.
