A one-day tasting experience featuring restaurants, shops and entertainment throughout Historic Old Towne and downtown Petersburg. Taste of Old Towne+ is a one-day food festival bringing together participating restaurants, shops, entertainment and local experiences throughout Historic Old Towne and other areas of downtown Petersburg. How the Tasting Experience Works Ticket holders will begin at event check-in, where each paid participant will receive an official Taste of Old Towne+ wristband, tasting passport and event map. From there, guests can create their own route through downtown. Each participating food location will serve a featured tasting created especially for the event. Your wristband and passport provide access to the complete tasting experience—there is no separate ticket required for each participating restaurant. Along the way, guests can explore participating shops, discover special storefront experiences, enjoy live entertainment and use the complimentary trolley to travel between designated event stops. The “+” represents participating restaurants, shops and destinations beyond Historic Old Towne, connecting the event with more of downtown Petersburg. Participating Food Locations Your ticket includes one featured tasting from each participating food location. The complete participating lineup and featured tasting menu will be announced soon. Tastings are available during the official event hours and while supplies last. Participating locations and menu selections are subject to change. Shops and Downtown Experiences Participating retailers, galleries and other downtown businesses will welcome guests with shopping, demonstrations, pop-ups, promotions and special experiences throughout the day. A tasting ticket is not required to visit participating shops or enjoy publicly accessible event areas. Only guests wearing an official event wristband may receive the featured restaurant tastings. Tickets and Wristbands Taste of Old Towne+ offers one ticket type for all tasting participants: $35 per person Every adult or child receiving tastings must have their own paid ticket and official event wristband. There are no separate children’s tickets or discounted tasting tickets. Children may accompany a ticketed adult without charge if they will not receive tastings. Wristbands and tastings cannot be shared. Event Check-In Check-in opens at 10:00 AM at: Wabi Sabi 29 Bollingbrooke Street Petersburg, Virginia Please bring your Eventbrite ticket on your phone or as a printed copy. Every paid tasting participant must check in before visiting the tasting locations. The official tasting experience begins at 11:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM. Parking and Trolley Service Free parking is available in the public lots across from the Dixie Restaurant and Wabi Sabi. Complimentary trolley service will connect designated event stops from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The final event map, participating lineup, parking information and trolley route will be available at www.tasteofoldtowne.com and emailed to ticket holders before the event. Food and Beverage Information Alcohol is not included in the tasting ticket. Participating businesses may offer alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages for separate purchase. Guests must be 21 or older and present a valid government-issued photo ID to purchase or consume alcohol. Featured tastings are selected and prepared by the individual restaurants. Guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions should speak directly with each participating location before consuming a tasting. Weather Information Taste of Old Towne+ is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, with a rain date of Sunday, October 4, 2026. If the rain date is required, ticket holders will be notified through Eventbrite email and the event’s official online channels. Purchased tickets will automatically remain valid for the rain date.
