Black business owners, founders, and the people who fund and hire them. Grant writing, contracts, capital, connections. Every last Thursday. Every last Thursday, Black business owners in the Inland Empire get in one room together. The Riverside Chapter of the Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce hosts the Riverside Monthly Mixer at The Founder's Center in Riverside. It is part working session, part introduction, and part exhale. You leave with contacts you can call, one concrete next step on funding or contracts, and a clearer sense of who in this county is building what. What happens each month • Grant writing — how to find the money you're eligible for and write an application that actually gets read. • Networking — structured introductions, not a room where you stand near the food alone. • Contract bids — how public agencies in Riverside County buy, who to register with, and where the local vendor preference works in your favor. • Capital access — lenders, CDFIs, and programs that serve businesses at your stage. • Wellness lounge — hosted by Pampered Social.
