Bank On Rochester Presents: Scam & Fraud Prevention Scammers are constantly finding new ways to steal money and personal information, and older adults are often specifically targeted. Join us for a free fraud prevention workshop to learn how to recognize common scams, spot warning signs, protect your finances, and know what to do if fraud happens. While this session will focus on scams that frequently target older adults, everyone is welcome! We especially encourage family members, caregivers, and organizations that support older adults to attend and learn how they can help protect themselves and others. Bonus! Representatives from participating banks will be available to help attendees open safe, affordable bank accounts on-site. Free and open to the community!
