Build Community, Not Bunkers - Workshop

Learn how to prepare for different types of emergencies, understand your role in community resilience, and create your own emergency plan. Would you know what to do 3 days, 3 weeks, or 3 months after a disaster? Most of us think about preparedness in terms of supplies. But resilience also comes from knowing your neighbors, understanding the skills and resources around you, and having people you can count on when normal systems are disrupted. Join us for Build Community, Not Bunkers, a workshop focused on practical readiness, stronger local connections, and how we can support one another before, during, and after an emergency. We’ll talk about what preparedness can look like beyond the first few days and explore ways to build a stronger support network close to home. No previous experience or skills needed. Come as you are, meet some neighbors, and leave with ideas you can actually use. The workshop is free, but please register so we know how many people to expect.
