Nazareth University Men's Basketball Prospect Camp

Great opportunity for any high school player who wants to learn what it takes to play college basketball and be seen by college coaches! This prospects camp, open to boys in current grades 8-12 during the 26 - 27 school year, will focus on the fundamentals of offensive skills including pivoting, spacing, and effectively using screens in addition to the fundamentals of defense. It will be an intense atmosphere that exposes players to college level drills, and gives them a chance to show their skills in front of Junior and 4-year college coaches who are in attendence. Camp schedule: 9:00am-10:00am- Registration and check in 10:00am-10:30am-Introduction, stretch, teaching with Coach Broderick 10:30am- 11:30am- station and skill work (Offense 3 on 3, defensive techniques, finishing and shooting) 11:30am-1:30pm- 5 on 5 games (College coach evaluations) 1:30pm-2:00pm- Recruiting workshop with Nazareth Head Coach Kevin Broderick The camp will be led by the Nazareth University Men's Basketball coaching staff, including Head Coach Kevin Broderick '89, who ranks among the top 10 active NCAA Division III coaches in career victories with more than 500 wins. Nazareth has been one of the nation's winningest Division III programs over the past five seasons and has led the country in fewest turnovers in three of the last four seasons. Our coaching staff is committed to helping you improve your skills, develop your basketball IQ, and focus on the areas of the game that will elevate your performance at the high school level while increasing your opportunities to play college basketball. This camp is a great opportunity for any high school player who wants to learn what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.
