Business owners and nonprofit leaders do much of the same work. They hire, lead, manage cash, and answer to the people they serve. The constraints differ. The craft is closer than most people think. Durable's Nonprofit Innovators Chapter is hosting an evening open to the full Durable community. It's a chance for business owners and nonprofit leaders to meet as peers, learn from each other, and find real ways to work together going into year-end. THE PANEL Leaders who have worked on both sides of the table, in business and in the nonprofit sector: Preston Cochrane, The Other Side Village Alyssa DeHart, Founder, Utah Advocacy Coalition Lavanya Mahate, RISE Culinary Institute Fourth panelist: to be defined Moderated by Chase Murdock, Co-Founder of Durable. We'll talk about what each side gets wrong about the other, what to look for and expect when building a great board, and what a strong partnership looks like beyond the board. THE ROOM After the panel, the room opens into four areas. Each has a host, and you can visit as many as you like. The Board Table. For trading expertise in both directions: finance, legal, HR, marketing, grant writing, volunteer management, and more. Hiring Bridge.
