Felt Flowers That Last: A Sustainable Bouquet Workshop

​Learn to make a variety of felt flowers with thrifted felt, then arrange them in a chic glass bud vase to take home. ​Join us for a relaxing Felt Flower Workshop as part of San Diego Climate Week! This event is meant to be low-pressure and fun - no crafting experience needed! ​Every flower will be crafted from thrifted felt sourced from Material Happiness, a local textile thrift store whose mission includes recirculating materials to create access for more people to enjoy a creative life while helping to curb overconsumption of textiles. ​ ​Your custom arrangement will stay bright and beautiful for years, whether it lives on your desk, within your bookshelf, or as a thoughtful gift for someone you love. ​What's Included? • ​One complimentary beverage from Tiny Giant Taproom • ​Step-by-step instruction and personal guidance from your instructor • ​All felt materials (various colors available!) • ​Templates for how to make different flowers and greenery • ​Crafting tools, including scissors, glue guns, pliers, etc. • ​A glass bud vase for you to build your arrangement ​Why Felt? ​Fresh flowers are beautiful but short-lived.
