CIRC PreK presents: Listening to Play‒Beginning Inquiry Through Observation

Learn to observe play, document thinking, and build collaborative investigations rooted in children's authentic interests and expression. In Reggio-inspired classrooms, curriculum begins with relationships and attentive listening. This workshop examines how children's play, movement, construction, storytelling, and artistic expression reveal complex thinking that can become the foundation for collaborative investigations. Participants will learn strategies for observing play, documenting children's thinking, and identifying possibilities for long-term investigations rooted in authentic interests.
