Creative Play Workshop

Sunset Social Club is excited to co-host a free Creative Play Art Workshop with neighbor Joy North from Craft Joy Studio!Adults and older kids are invited to come create together and enjoy the tactile experience of making art. The focus will be on enjoying the creative process and not on technique or skill, so no experience is needed. We'll have stations with simple creative prompts and materials for everyone to explore their creativity: Paint with Paper - create torn paper art inspired by the Sunset Community "Quilt" - make your own unique paper quilt square to contribute to our collaborative art project We are the Sunset - draw yourself to create a collaborative doodle of neighbors Color the Sunset - color a Sunset postcard you can share with someone or your favorite places in our neighborhood If you’d like to have a custom coloring page created of your neighborhood block or favorite place in the Sunset, please email your photo to Joy at [email protected] in advance! This event is free and all are welcome to come create in a relaxed and supportive environment, whether or not you think of yourself as creative :) You can come for just a little while or stay for the entire event. Come join this shared space for us neighbors to connect and let’s create together!
