Free Teacher Workshop: Self Portraits for All Levels with Petra Schumann

Can't draw? No problem! Bring portraiture into your classroom without the stress of realism. About the Workshop Student self-portraits look fantastic on classroom walls—they’re personal, expressive, and a favorite with families. But teaching self-portraits can feel intimidating when you’re thinking, I can’t even draw a face! Where does that nose go? How do I draw hair? In this fun, hands-on workshop, we’ll cover the basics of facial proportions and explore three portrait styles that emphasize creativity and self-expression rather than detailed drawing skills. You’ll leave with practical resources and $25 worth of supplies to help you bring self-portraits into your classroom with confidence. Workshop Timeline 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Workshop 6:00 PM - 7:00PM | Chat and Shop with your fellow teachers All teachers will receive $25 of materials for free.
