Small Gifts: Soft Solder Jewelry with Lily Marylander

Turn any shell, piece of broken glass or pottery into your favorite piece of jewelry! Lily will guide you through the process of giving a wearable edge to the little treasures we keep in trinket boxes! Participants are more than welcome to bring their own treasures or old jewelry, but there will also be materials available from SCRAP. Ideally bring non-flammable and non-meltable pieces. We will be using hot soldering irons so please keep that in mind as you register! Please note we have a sliding scale for tickets for this event! She double majored in Sculpture and Jewelry Metal Arts with a minor in Ecological Practices. Her mixed practice aims to spark conversation, exploring themes of the body, mixed identity, and her transition into adulthood.
