localhost(san-francisco)

localhost always resolves to the machine you're on. So does this series: same room, same mindset, different city. San Francisco's the first one. No panels, no pitches, no badges with job titles. Just people who maintain, break, and ship open source, in one room for an evening, with beer and pizza. Models write more and more of the code. They still don't maintain a project, grow a contributor base, or earn the trust that gets your software into production: that part's done by people who know each other. Supporting open source only works through community, so we're getting ours together.
