Join the Oakland-based chef and event curator that creates spaces centered on deep human connection, shared survival, and the holiness of nourishment, Jessy Manuel. This lecture is an intimate talk on the deep, visceral connections that bind us across the plate. Drawing from over 20 years in the culinary world, including high-pressure Michelin-starred kitchens to remote street markets across the globe, Jessy will share how different cultures define culinary intimacy and how regional flavors get involved.
