Zumbi Festival

A community gathering of Black consciousness, the power of community honoring Zumbi dos Palmares and all leaders that empower our community. O Tambor Fala is a community conversation through drumming- an opportunity to bring families together, strengthen relationships, and create space for meaningful dialogue. Through the rhythm of the drum, we explore our responsibilities as community and family leaders and individuals. We ask ourselves: How do our actions influence others? How can we lead by example? How can we inspire one another to grow together? Zumbi Festival reminds us that every action has an impact. when we choose respect, responsibility, unity, and positive action; those choices can ripple through our families and strengthen the entire community. The drum becomes more than an instrument- it becomes a voice for connection, reflection, accountability, and collective growth.
