One comment at the dinner table, one tense moment with your partner, and suddenly you're reacting from a version of yourself you thought you'd outgrown. Tantra teaches that the first thing to do in any situation is get grounded, connected to where you are right now in time and space. From there, you can choose who you want to be instead of running on default. This evening is about White Tantra, the practice of Tantra for self. It weaves together body, mind, and spirit so you become whole and complete. It's the foundation every relationship stands on, because you can't couple what isn't whole. Come as you are, partnered or single. This class is centered on your own practice, so it works just as fully for singles as for couples. Partners are welcome to practice side by side. All practices are fully clothed and non-sexual. In this class you'll: • Learn a quick grounding meditation you can use anywhere, even mid-conversation • Practice the pause: how to stop, breathe, and get your bearings before reacting • Learn to track the chain from body sensation to perception, emotion, and the story you tell yourself • Discover how to take back your power by choosing your response with eyes wide open • Leave with a simple daily practice to keep you centered through the holidays and beyond This class is for you if: • You dread the holidays, or the family dynamics that come with them • You react in ways you later regret and want a way to catch yourself sooner • You're single and want to build a strong, sovereign relationship with yourself • You're partnered and want to stop absorbing each other's stress This is the second evening in the Relationship Skills Update Series leading to Sequoia's Valentine's Tantra Relationship Workshop, February 12–14, 2027.
