LO Central Coast | Train Run + Walk

Join us for a trail run through Ft. Ord National Monument! No experience required. Vamos a correr/caminar en Ft. Ord together! This is an introductory and social event (suitable for beginners). A perfect opportunity to learn about trail running and meet more people in your community who also enjoy outdoor activities. We know trail running can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be and this is your opportunity to learn about this activity with a supportive group! No one will be left behind and we will go at a very comfortable place for everyone. It is not about being fast, but about having fun! And yes, we will take as many breaks as needed and also walk, walking is a big part of trail running! 📍 Location: Creekside Terrace Trailhead @ Ft. Como los días son cada vez más cortos, recomendamos llevar una linterna frontal o una linterna pequeña; ¡avísanos si necesitas que te prestemos una! 🚶Walk: A 2-3 mile loop trail on wider trails, suitable for kiddos and enough space for a stroller that can roll on gravel roads. 🚶Camina: Una ruta circular de 2 a 3 millas por senderos anchos, apta para niños y con espacio suficiente para un cochecito capaz de circular por caminos de grava. 🌯 Food: Pre-run/walk there will be a place to fill up on water, electrolytes and trail snacks. Post-run/walk burritos and chocolate milk will be available. 🌯 Comida: Antes de la carrera o caminata, habrá un punto para abastecerse de agua, electrolitos y refrigerios energéticos. Al finalizar, se ofrecerán burritos y leche con chocolate. ⏱️ Time: Meeting at 5pm, starting run/walk at 5:15pm.
