Seattle Recess: A Nostalgic "Sip & Reset" for Growth-Minded Women

Unwind, grab a coffee, make genuine connections. No Agendas. Just casual networking, curated chats & simple crafts to help you recharge. Take a Break. Catch Your Breath. Find Your People. ☕✨ Remember the absolute relief of recess? When the school bell rang, it meant you got to step away from the desk, stretch your legs and chat with friends. Let's be honest, it was probably the most exciting thing about school! The one thing you actually looked forward to because there were no rules, only play. In a world full of structured networking events and high-energy workshops, Recess is bringing that exact feeling back. It is your official permission slip to simply slow down, grab a coffee, and hang out. We explore a new local spot each month with a pure, simple intention: to provide a relaxed space for women to connect with new faces, without a purpose-driven agenda or any strings attached. The Experience Think of this as a cozy afternoon at a coffee shop with friends you just haven't met yet. We’re trading professional "masking" and rigid agendas for casual, alcohol-free connection. • 🔔 Agenda-Free Networking: Leave the business cards and elevator pitches at home. There’s no pressure to pitch yourself or climb a ladder. With the help of some light, curated conversation starters, you can easily skip the awkward small talk and just enjoy getting to know people. • 🔔 Low-Demand Co-Regulating: We’ll have simple, mindless activities on hand—like premium coloring pages or a basic craft. There’s no goal, no deadline, and no final product to judge. It’s just a tactile way to help you unwind, doodle, and chat while your "work brain" turns off. • 🔔 A Zero-Pressure Environment: No alcohol is needed to open up here. This is a comfortable, sober-friendly sanctuary built for genuine human connection, laughter, and an opportunity to exhale. The Details • The Vibe: Casual, nostalgic, relaxing, and completely obligation-free. • Who it’s for: Any woman who feels like her life is currently "all work and no play." If you’re craving a structured break from your routine and just want to talk to some cool new people, this is for you. • What to bring: Just yourself. We’ve got the coffee shop vibe, the conversation starters, and the space for you to simply be. 🎒 You’ve earned your break.
