Art Event: “Holiday Dreams” Kinusaiga Workshop

Join us for a cozy, hands-on workshop to "paint" a vibrant ornament with colorful fabric! Relax, create, and enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea. ✨Looking for something fun and relaxing to do on a Saturday night? We’ve got you! Join us on November 14th, 2026, 6-8 pm, at Art a la Carte gallery for a cozy, hands-on creative experience to “paint” with fabric. Relax, create, and enjoy a cup of Moroccan tea with macarons.✨ Kinusaiga is an art technique that originated in Japan to make fabric collage art by pressing scrap fabric into pre-cut grooves on a foam board, creating textured pieces without sewing. Using our design templates, special tucking tools, and vibrant fabric scraps, you’ll create your own holiday ornaments. In the end of this workshop, you’ll have a unique piece of decor ready to take home! This is more than just a class — it creates space for you to slow down, decompress, try something new, and channel your creativity. The tactile, rhythmic process of cutting and tucking fabric into a foam is grounding, satisfying, and deeply therapeutic. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking for a mindful creative escape, this workshop is perfect for you. No prior experience needed, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm to class. And let’s make some art together!
