IMPORTANT BAKER REQUIREMENT All bakers must bring a complete written ingredient list with their cake, including any common allergens. Please note that cakes are prepared in individual home kitchens, so we cannot guarantee that any item is completely free from cross-contact with allergens. Bring Your Cake! If you're joining us as a baker, prepare and decorate one beautiful cake to share with the community. Let your creativity shine! 2. Explore the Cake Collection! Upon arrival, participating bakers will check in their cakes for our community cake display. Enjoy admiring the beautiful creations and connecting with fellow cake lovers. 3. Let the Cake Tasting Begin! When your admission tier is called, explore the available cake selections and fill your provided tasting box with a delicious assortment of slices. Not a baker? No problem! We also offer a limited number of admission tickets for guests who prefer to enjoy cakes without bringing one. Cake Requirements & Baker Guidelines To create an incredible experience for everyone, all participating bakers must follow the guidelines below. 1. Minimum Cake Size & Presentation • Each participating baker must bring one whole cake measuring at least 8 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall. • Cakes must be fully assembled, decorated, and ready for display. • Cakes must be presented on a sturdy, food-safe cake board or suitable display base. • Cakes must arrive in clean, protective, food-safe containers. • Cupcakes, individual pastries, cookies, and other small desserts do not qualify as a whole cake. • We encourage creative decorations, unique flavor combinations, and beautiful presentations! 2. Complete Ingredient & Allergen List — REQUIRED Every cake must be accompanied by a complete written ingredient list. No exceptions. Bakers must provide: • Cake name and flavor. • Complete list of ingredients, including frosting, fillings, decorations, and toppings. • Ingredients within premade mixes, sauces, or other packaged components. • Identification of all applicable major food allergens, including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, fish, and shellfish. • Any known potential allergen cross-contact. • Date the cake was baked and assembled. Ingredient information must be accurate and available for guests to review before selecting cake. 3. Ingredient Receipts & Preparation Dates — REQUIRED All participating bakers are required to: • Keep original or digital receipts showing the purchase of ingredients used. • Record the date the cake was baked and decorated. • Maintain ingredient packaging or product information when possible. • Ensure ingredients are fresh and within applicable expiration dates. • Provide ingredient receipts and preparation information to event organizers upon request. These records help support ingredient transparency and food safety procedures. 4. Safe Food Preparation & Transportation Bakers must follow applicable food safety regulations and any additional requirements communicated by the event organizers. All cakes must: • Be prepared in a clean, sanitary environment legally authorized for the intended event use. • Be handled with clean equipment and appropriate hygiene practices. • Be protected against contamination during storage and transportation. • Be maintained at safe temperatures, including refrigeration when required. • Arrive in suitable condition for display and serving. Important: Cakes prepared in private home kitchens may only be accepted where permitted under applicable state and local laws and health department requirements.
