Fairfax County Small Business Commission Reverse Tradeshow

Join The Small Business Commission for Fairfax County as we host a FREE training and networking events. The Small Business Commission (SBC) was created by the Board of Supervisors to advise and assist the Board, county executive, and county purchasing agent on any matter that will enhance the capability of small, minority and women-owned businesses, and those owned by service-disabled veterans to succeed. General Session: • Keynote Speakers: Keynote speakers will address the current landscape of the small business community in Fairfax County, highlighting key trends, challenges, and opportunities facing local businesses. • Bea Malone Award: The Small Business Commission will celebrate and recognize the recipient of the Bea Malone Award. The award was established in honor of the Commission’s past Chair, the late Beatrice “Bea” Malone, who dedicated many years of service to the Commission, Fairfax County, and its small business community before her passing in 2015. The award is presented annually to a Fairfax County business that has demonstrated outstanding service to the community. • Legacy Business Recognition: The Small Business Commission will also celebrate Fairfax County’s business community by recognizing legacy businesses that have provided 70 or more years of service in Fairfax County.
