Tempered Chocolate Bars and Truffles!

Join us for this fun class where you'll learn to work with chocolate while making delicious chocolate bars & truffles! Ready to take your chocolate-making skills to the next level? Join Stephanie from Sweet Sugarcraft for this class where you’ll learn the art of tempering real chocolate using premium Belgian Callebaut chocolate. Each student will make four 1-ounce mini chocolate bars, choosing from a variety of delicious inclusions such as dried fruits, nuts, and toffee. You’ll also make a batch of decadent truffles, rolling them in your choice of delicious toppings. Come ready to learn, create, and indulge in some seriously good chocolate! Meet Your Instructor: Stephanie Harkin is a professional cake and cookie decorator with more than 20 years of experience, including employment in three local bakeries and service as a Wilton instructor for hundreds of students. Her talent has earned her multiple baking and decorating awards at the National Capital Cake Show and other local challenges. She joined the Fran’s crew over seven years ago, where customers have admired her work on the inspiration table or benefited from her thoughtful guidance on their own decorating projects. Known for her creativity, curiosity, and patience, Stephanie’s approachable teaching style makes her classes both enjoyable and inspiring. In the event of insufficient enrollment, you will receive a full refund. • Class will run approximately 2 hours. Please note that the class is hands-on and may run over or under schedule. Cancellation Policy: Changes and cancellations...we know life happens so we try our best to be flexible while being fair to our instructors who purchase supplies and bake for each student. Full refunds or credits are available for cancellations made at least 5 days prior to the class. If you need to cancel after 5 days but at least 48 hours in advance, we can offer you a credit for a future class. We cannot offer any credits for cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
