Full description from organizer

Presenting new contemporary dance works by young choreographers! Join us for the sixth annual Equinox Dance Festival Student Choreography Showcase. Celebrating new contemporary, tap, and ballet dance works by young choreographers, this show is the culmination of the DTG Performance Company's Student Choreography program. It provides a space for dancers ages 15-18 to choreograph dances, often for the first time, in an educational setting. The choreographers work with a mentor, learn to lead rehearsals, work with their peers, and make decisions for the stage that brings their work to life! Meet the Choreographers: Ana Pistolis has been in the DTG company for around 6 years and has been in productions such as A Moving Orchestra, Kaleidoscope, Flora, Continuum, and Minds Eye, and had her choreography shown at the Equinox Dance Festival. Her favorite styles to dance are Tap and Jazz. When she’s not dancing, Ana enjoys spending time with her friends and reading. She enjoys being on stage whether is dancing, singing, or acting.
