Storytime at Betty's Books!

Join us for our ongoing Storytime, featuring a new storyteller each month! Come with your little one to enjoy stories, floor mat time, toys, and simple crafts at Betty's Books! This month, author Cinnamon Anderson will be hosting in celebration of her book, Mama Mae's Bakery. In addition to storytime fun, there will be yummy treats and a book signing. About Cinnamon's book, Mama Mae’s Bakery: When the smell of blueberry pancakes fills the air, Rye knows it's going to be a special day with Mama Mae. Together, they bake with love and fill the town with the joy of banana pudding. Mama Mae's bakery is a place of magic and warmth, where every recipe carries a story. But when Mama Mae's kitchen grows quiet, Rye must learn how to carry on her legacy. Through the recipes, the memories, and the love she left behind, Rye discovers that Mama Mae's spirit is always with her. Mama Mae's Bakery is a heartwarming story of love, loss, and keeping traditions alive. Perfect for children ages 5-9, it's a sweet reminder that those we love never truly leave-they live on in the food we share, the stories we tell, and the hearts we touch.
