Simple Sauerkraut Workshop

Learn how to make crunchy, probiotic-rich sauerkraut from scratch and take home a jar you made in class! Join us at the farm for a hands-on sauerkraut making workshop with Farmer Victor! In this class, you’ll make your own jar of crunchy, probiotic-packed sauerkraut from scratch using simple ingredients - organic cabbage grown right here at Life Farms and sea salt. Victor will guide you step by step through the fermentation process, share tips for success, answer your questions, and teach you how to build on the basic recipe with your own aromatics at home. Sauerkraut is one of the simplest ways to preserve fresh cabbage, and it’s packed with beneficial bacteria that support gut health and digestion. It keeps in the fridge for months, is easy to learn, and once you know the method, it’s easy to make again and again. Your ticket includes organic Life Farms cabbage, sea salt, a jar, and hands-on instruction during class, so you’ll leave with your first jar already made and ready to bring home. Come learn this traditional method of food preservation and leave with a skill you can use for years to come!
