Reiki and Aromatherapy Workshop: A Gift Of Self-Care

Breathe, Relax, and Restore at an Aromatherapy Workshop and Guided Reiki Session in preparation for the busy holiday season! As much as we love celebrating the upcoming holiday season, it can be challenging for our mental and physical well-being. Give yourself the gift of self-care by joining us for a soothing afternoon of aromatherapy, relaxation, and Reiki in the peaceful and supportive atmosphere at the New Weis Center. Our aromatherapy workshop will explore the differences between fragrance oils and essential oils, in addition to the wellness benefits we experience when using them. Our focus will be on the properties of peppermint, eucalyptus, tea tree, and rosemary essential oils, and some of the research that demonstrates their potential antibacterial and antiviral activity. Then, we will enjoy the hands-on experience of making our own all-natural salve using these essential oils. While our salves cool, we will experience a guided Reiki meditation infused with the melodies of Himalayan singing bowls. Participants are guided through the Reiki self-treatment protocols through a gentle and supportive meditation led by Crystal Eshanov, Reiki Master and Owner of Sage & Sound Holistic Wellness in Montclair, NJ. Take a little time for yourself, reconnect with your sense of well-being, and leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and more centered for the busy months ahead! • Led by Crystal Eshanov, Certified Sound Healing Practitioner, Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master, and Chris Campbell, Certified Aromatherapist • Ages 13+ • Under 18: parental supervision required • Parking is available in the outer lot on Snake Den Rd, or follow the driveway and park near the main brick building. • Indoor/Outdoor program; please dress accordingly. • Refundable with 2 weeks' notice.
