Intro to IFS: A Workshop to Explore Internal Family Systems and Yoga Saturday, November 14th, 1:00 to 4:00 pm Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a way of understanding the different parts of us, the ones that worry, push, protect, or shut down, and how to relate to them with more curiosity and less judgment. These parts show up in our bodies, and yoga gives us a way to access them and get to know them there. In this workshop, we’ll explore that connection through both conversation and yoga. This workshop is for you if: • You’ve never heard of IFS • You’ve heard of it and want to learn more • You know IFS well and are curious how it meets yoga • You’re interested in a way of relating to yourself that can bring more ease into daily life No prior yoga or IFS experience is needed. What we’ll do together (3 hours): • A brief, jargon-free overview of the IFS model • Gentle embodied practices to help you notice and connect with your inner experience • Time to reflect on how IFS might support the way you move through your days You may leave feeling more settled in your body and with a clearer sense of how IFS can support you.
