An Intuitive Surgical Proctor and Trainer, Dr. Harkins serves as Medical Director of Robotics for the HCA Gulf Coast Division and is a member of its Board of Directors. As an early advocate of ERAS principles, he currently serves as Chairman of the HCA Houston-Tomball ERAS Committee. He is also recognized as an SRC Master Surgeon in Robotic Surgery.
