Celebrate Indie Rock 'O Ween four stellar bands. Try out your best costume and show up for a spooktakular good time! Join us for a fantastic night of music, spooky Halloween vibes, and just good plain fun. Isabella Dussias is a New Jersey native and emerging NYC-based singer songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist whose intimate lyrics and melodies fuse indie pop, folk, and alternative elements. She enjoys the entire process of creating music: writing, producing, and performing. Part Time Custodian is A 4 piece indie rock band from NJ. Two EP's "Crowned in Afterglow" and "Vacant Valleys" streaming now. If you like the Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, REM, you may have just found your new favorite band. The Parkies are an indie band (with some emo influence) from various location, come together to tickle your eardrums! Forever King Clark is an indie rock band based out of Asbury Park making wiggly music for stiff people. FKC’s latest EP “You’re Not There” can be found wherever you choose to look for music on the internet. What is Rock Shack? We are a live music venue that encourages creativity, expression, and original music. Our goal is to help give original bands a musician friendly space to strut their stuff in front of a welcoming audience. Location: Our venue is located inside the Somerville School of Rock building on the first floor. The street address is: The Rock Shack 14 Davenport St., Suite 1 Somerville, NJ 08876 Parking: The Rock Shack does not have its own parking lot. Do not park in the lot immediately behind our building as you may be ticketed or towed. There is street parking and several municipal lots immediately around the school. Municipal lots 1 and 2 are on the right and left side of Davenport St. just half of a block north of our venue. Rates are 50 cents per hour until 7 PM and free after that. You can pay at the Kiosk or via the Park Smarter app, https://www.parksmarter.com/. Street parking is metered and $1/hour until 7 PM, free after that. Alcohol and drug policy: We are an alcohol and drug free space. Please do not bring alcohol or drugs to a show or you will be asked to leave. Thank you for respecting our safe space and allowing everyone to thoroughly enjoy the music Food and Drink: While we do not serve alcohol, we do sell non-alcoholic drinks and pre-packaged snacks. Hearing Protection: Rock shows are LOUD!!! We will attempt to have on site free foam earplugs but please bring ear protection if you have it. Photos and videos: Bring it on!!! Please respect copyrights and give credit to artists as appropriate. Please tag bands, musicians, and the venue if you post on social media! However, if a particular artist asks that you not record, please respect that.
