Art Exhibition Opening - DISPLACEMENT

The Kota Alliance and WHDC are proud to present 'DISPLACEMENT' - An all-women multimedia art exhibition. We warmly welcome you to 'DISPLACEMENT' an art exhibition opening at The Kota Alliance. WHO GETS TO CALL A PLACE HOME? 'DISPLACEMENT' creates space for women artists connected to Harlem to document, question, preserve, and reinterpret the histories unfolding around them. DISPLACEMENT centers the voices of mid-career women artists from Harlem responding to a neighborhood—and a world—in constant transformation. Through art, we examine what is lost, carried, remembered, reclaimed, and rebuilt when people and communities are displaced. Curated by Ruthy Valdez in collaboration with The Kota Alliance. When home shifts, what remains? We invite you to join us for an evening of art, connection, and reflection. Date: November 6th, 2026 Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Location: The Kota Alliance, 43 St Nicholas Pl Drinks and small bites offered at the opening! We hope to see you there!
